Sleeper is a true band that has learned to play as a group rather than being pushed together and being made to play as a group and as with all bands of that same upbringing you always get a unique sound that is not copied. For some reason they always seem to have a lot of writing talent and can express themselves ably. Louise Wener is no exception to the rule and has created an album that does her proud.

Another bonus is that Louise has a crisp clear voice with all lyrics being understood, and not only that she has a unique sound that just requires you to listen.

Overall Sleeper have produced quite a nice album with Pleased To Meet You. It isn't overly depressing and the songs have had some effort expended to produce an album that is thoughtful and interesting.
