Dragon’s Den challenge. Spectacular cousins of the seahorse, the sea dragons from the seas off Western Australia, are especially vulnerable to pollution, and are both protected species. “They are perhaps the most dramatic examples of the many wonders of the marine world that could disappear unless we start taking better care of our seas,” said Curator Graham Burrows. That’s why the Centre is inviting visitors to post their own marine conservation suggestions in a special Dragon’s Den post-box alongside the display tanks housing the new arrivals. The best suggestion will earn its author a Sea Life Annual Pass…providing free admission to any Sea Life centre or sanctuary for a whole year.

Perched on the canal bank opposite the National Indoor Arena, this is a gem of a Sea Life Centre spread over three floors of a striking modern building. Visitors climb gently past an array of amazing display tanks teeming with freshwater and marine creatures of all shapes and sizes. Check out the amazing new 4D Sensoramic Cinema!
