PAX Prime 2013: Troubadour

Eric Doty is an Xbox community manager by day. But at night, he’s creating a new interactive fiction that aspires to be more like a book or movie than a game. Though there are game elements, to be sure. Even a bit of social satire. And that’s just the demo.

We spoke with Eric at PAX Prime 2013 about Troubadour and his desire – with the assistance of fine artist Zak Alexander and musician/beat dropper Dallas “Deezign” Stoeckel – to help shape the shifting face of narrative in games.
