This one caught us by surprise. We were listening to Soundcloud without paying much attention, and then all of sudden, this righteous bass popped up with these sick, sick drums and some obscure vocal stabs. It certainly grabbed our attention for all the right reasons. The tune is Outsäglig and it’s by ℓuminance from Arizona.
The tune is only about 3 minutes long but it seems like quite a lot happens in that time. About the mid point and you get a short melody, some abstract sweeps, more weird samples and THAT BASS. It grabs hold of you and just won’t let go. The rainfall in the intro is a nice touch, also, building naturally into the tune itself. It took us a few listens to realise that the rainfall is actually present through the whole track.
One word describes this: future.
